Abstract
In the context of current education, pedagogical models play a crucial role in guiding the planning and execution of effective educational processes. This scientific article delves into the exploration, comparison and application of various pedagogical models, with the aim of shedding light on their impact on contemporary teaching and learning. Traditional models, such as the teacher-student knowledge transfer approach, are contrasted with more modern approaches, such as problem- and project-based learning, as well as the flipped classroom model. Through this comparison, it is highlighted how each model influences the active participation of the student, the acquisition of critical skills and the practical application of knowledge in real world situations.
The article analyzes how pedagogical models are applied in current education, considering their integration in curricular planning, learning assessment, and classroom dynamics. In addition, it examines how these approaches can impact the motivation, commitment and integral development of the student. The importance of adapting pedagogical models to the changing needs of students and the contemporary educational environment is highlighted, and strategies for successful implementation are explored, including teacher training and the incorporation of technology.
Ultimately, this article seeks to provide an overview of pedagogical models in current education, highlighting their diversity and their potential to enrich the educational process and prepare students to face the challenges of a constantly evolving society.
