Abstract

The objective that we want to present through this work is to define the didactic materials that we can use in the teaching-learning process through an investigative work carried out by the students of the computer science pedagogy career of the University of Guayaquil. For the collection of information of the present investigation, a questionnaire of 7 questions was carried out, which was answered in a very sincere and conscious way by students of the University of Guayaquil and online educational tools were used, we hope that the Internet of things will act also as a means of communication between other members of the school community to achieve mastery of a specific topic and thus be able to work individually or collaboratively without inconveniences in the process of carrying out the proposed activities. Internet of Things (IoT) is defined as objects or tools that allow us to interact with other communication networks, mechanisms or applications which allow us to have a backup of the activities we carry out as long as we are connected to a device that contains Wifi because these will be uploaded in a cloud and therefore through this we can use them anywhere we are (home, schools, shopping centers, companies, etc...) In conclusion, the Internet of things allows us to go beyond quality of the face-to-face resources, in order to be able to adapt to the individual schedules of the students and facilitate the continuous interaction between classmates and teachers through online media, a collection of information from the present investigation was also carried out, which shows that almost 95% of students understand what the internet of things is
